Favre looked sharp in limited action

The Meadowlands was buzzing last night with a sense of anticipation as fans awaited Brett Favre’s debut as a Jet.  Favre didn’t disappoint.

Going 5-6 for 148 yards and a TD, Favre looked sharp.  He threw the ball well and had good presence running the offense.

With new head coach Jim Zorn replacing Hall-of-Famer Joe Gibbs, the Washington Redskins now head in a new direction in 2008.   For four years Gibbs ran a one-back, power running game with good success but now Zorn will bring a more wide-open, horizontal West Coast attack.

The Jets will need to disrupt Anderson's rhythm in order to control the Brown's offense

After a solid 2007 season the Cleveland Browns are primed for a major step up and early predictions have them landing in the playoffs.  Head Coach Romeo Crennel was on the brink of being fired two seasons ago and nearly led his troops to the playoffs were it not for a poor performance by his starting QB at season’s end.

Offense
