Brandon Graham

Brandon Graham

OLB, Michigan
6-1, 268, 4.7-40
Projection: 1st round

One of my favorite players in the entire draft. Graham is a non-stop tackling machine. He plays with a lot of passion and intensity and is consistently around the football. He had a huge Senior Bowl - was a real disruptive force and consistently made plays behind the line of scrimmage.

He reminds me a lot of James Harrison from the Steelers. His lack of height allows him to gain leverage against opposing linemen and his powerful lower body allows him to take on blocks at the point of attack. Graham will be gone by the time the Jets pick but like Sergio Kindle, he is the kind of player it would make sense to move up for. He was highly productive at Michigan despite being double-teamed on a regular basis. He is tough and aggressive and his motor is always running. He has great character and will be an excellent leader both on the field and in the locker room. He uses his hands extremely well which prevents offensive tackles from getting into his frame. He is not very explosive but he has superior instincts, lateral agility and foot quickness to change direction and make plays all over the field. Graham has very little downside and is one of the safest picks in this draft.
